Descripción general

3′5′-Cyclic Adenosine Monophosphate (c-AMP) is an intracellular hormonal mediator that facilitates the glycogenolytic effects of epinephrine and glucagon in the liver. c-AMP is also mediates the effect of several other hormones, and is known to function as a second messenger for intracellular signal transductions.
Anti-Adenosine 3′,5′-Cyclic Monophosphate (cAMP) is specific for cAMP and does not cross-react with 5′-AMP, 5′-ADP, 5′-ATP or 3′,5′-cGMP.

Inmunógeno

Cyclic AMP-2′-BSA

Aplicación

Anti-Adenosine 3′,5′-Cyclic Monophosphate (cAMP) antibody is suitable for use in radioimmunoassays. It can also be used for immunohistochemical assays.
Rabbit anti-cAMP was used in an enzyme immunoassay to detect the level of cAMP in human CD34+ peripheral blood mononuclear cells. Anti-cAMP was incubated with cells on a microtiter plate at room temperature on a shaker (300 rpm) for 2 hours.

Forma física

The antibody is provided as a pre-diluted antiserum that has been lyophilized.

Reconstitución

Reconstitute with 1ml 0.1% BSA in distilled water. Store the reconstituted stock at -20°C. Working dilution (1:10) to be discarded if unused within 12 hours.
