N-Lauroylsarcosine is an anionic surfactant with an ability to denature proteins. Due to its microbicidal property, N-lauroylsarcosine is being considered as a potent anti-microbicide in topical formulations, especially against sexually transmitted diseases (STDs).[1][2]
