Lck, also referred to as T cell-specific protein tyrosine kinase, is a 56kD protein that belongs to Src family of non-receptor tyrosine protein kinases and is expressed mainly in T cells. It has a pivotal role in the initiation of pre-TCR and T-cell antigen receptor (TCR)-linked signal transduction pathways. Anti-phospho-Lck (pTyr192) antibody reacts specifically with Lck (pTyr192) in humans.
Immunogen
synthetic phosphopeptide derived from the region of Lck that is phosphorylated on tyrosine 192. Human and mouse have 100% homology.
Application
Anti-phospho-Lck (pTyr192) antibody can be used in western blotting (diluted 1:1000) using full length recombinant human Lck protein.
Physical form
Solution in Dulbecco′s phosphate buffered saline (without Mg2+ and Ca2+), pH 7.3 (+/- 0.1), 50% glycerol, with 1.0 mg/mL BSA (IgG, protease free) and 0.05% sodium azide.
Preparation Note
The antibody is preadsorbed to remove any reactivity towards a non-phosphorylated Lck.

Pre-T-cell receptor (pre-TCR) and TCR signals govern the development of T-lymphocytes. RhoH, a hematopoietic-specific and GTPase-deficient member of the RhoGTPase family, is required in the development of T-lymphocytes. Here we found that RhoH binds and modulates LCK, the non-receptor tyrosine
