Questions

  1. I’m using a decalcification solution, and the solution suddenly turned black, almost like diluted paint. I don’t remember it being this dark before. Is the precipitate normally black, or does this indicate some kind of problem?

    1 answer
    1. Decalcifying Solution-Lite will discolor and corrode most metals. Avoid exposure to metal cassettes, countertops and slide racks. When rinsing specimens, flush any Decalcifying Solution-Lite with running water to prevent damage to chrome plated plumbing fixtures. All decalcifying must be performed in plastic (or glass) containers.
