Cell Line Description
The antibody recognises the glycoprotein 2BII. Binding is lost after acid hydrolysis or de-glycosylation of 2BII. AFRC MAC 10 antibody shows similar fine specificity and properties to AFRC MAC 6, 7, 8, 9 and 11.
Immunogen
2BII, the major glycoprotein fraction of the cell wall of Chlamydomonas reinhardii
Culture Medium
DMEM + 2mM glutamine + 10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS)
Subculture Routine
Maintain cultures between 3-9x100,000 cells/ml; 5% CO2; 37°C. These cells require mouse macrophage feeder layers upon resuscitation
