- to prepare high temperature stoichiometric sintered hydroxyapatite (sin-HA)[1]
- as a component of calcium phosphate cement (CPC) to prepare bioartificial pancreas (BAP)[2]
- to produce calcium pyrophosphate (Ca2P2O7) for the preparation of α-tricalcium phosphates (α-TCP)[3]
