Procion Red is a monoazo dye, that is highly soluble in water. It is used for dyeing cellulose, nylon, silk and wool.

Application

Procion Red has been used in the visualization of osteocyte canalicular system. It has been used as an adsorbate in the biosorption by Bacillus subtilis.
