General description

“Millex” MCE syringe filter utilizes mixed esters of cellulose membrane of pore size 0.8 μm and modified acrylic housing.

Application

This “Millex” MCE syringe filter is intended for use in clarification and sterile filtration of protein solutions, tissue culture media, additives, buffers, biological solutions and water.

Features and Benefits

  • The filter′s bidirectional support allows filtering aqueous solutions in both forward and backward directions.
  • It effectively removes microorganisms, particles, precipitates, and undissolved powders larger than the rated pore size.
  • These filters are single-use, non-pyrogenic, and non-toxic.
