General description
<p>ProteoJuice<TMSYMBOL></TMSYMBOL> Protein Transfection Reagent is an effective reagent for the transfection of intact functional protein and peptides into mammalian cells with minimal toxicity and broad cell specificity. The chemistry of ProteoJuice differs substantially from protein delivery systems based on lipids or protein transduction domains. ProteoJuice forms a non-covalent complex with protein that protects against degradation by endosomal proteases and ensures delivery of intact protein inside the cell. Protein transfection with ProteoJuice is ideal for functional studies, delivering bioactive or inhibitory proteins, screening peptide libraries, studying subcellular location and turnover, and transient complementation of suppressed gene expression. Live cells can be examined less than two hours after delivery to determine the effects of the introduced material without the need for cell fixation.
<p>ProteoJuice Protein Transfection Reagent has been used successfully to deliver large proteins (such as antibodies), small proteins (such as histones), and peptides.
