Features and Benefits

LightOx72 is a fluorescent molecule that exhibits solvatochromatic fluorescence emission when excited with UV-A and violet (405 nm) light sources. In the free, unconjugated form LightOx72 can be used as a cellular membrane stain. The free secondary amine moiety is a reactive group for conjugation to other (bio)molecules by N-acylation, N-sulphonylation, N-alkylation or aza-Michael addition. Stock solutions are typically prepared at 10 mM in DMSO or DMF.

Product can be used with our line of photoreactors: Including Penn PhD (Z744035) & SynLED 2.0 (Z744080)
