General description

1,4-Diethylbenzene is one of the three isomers of diethylbenzene, which is primarily used as a cross-linker for the fabrication of synthetic rubbers, polyester resins, ion-exchange resins, etc.

Application

1,4-Diethylbenzene may be used as an analytical reference standard for the determination of the analyte in gasoline samples, crude oil and insecticidal formulations by various chromatography techniques.
