General description
Native α1,2-fucosidase from Xanthomon as species. Catalyzes the hydrolysis of all non-reducing terminal fucose that are α1,2-linked to the galactose of terminal Gal-GlcNAc disaccharide structures. The enzyme will not cleave fucose linked to the GlcNAc residue.
Note: 1 mU = 1 milliunit.

Toxicity: Standard Handling (A)
Unit Definition
One unit is defined as the amount of enzyme that will catalyze the release of 1.0 µmol fucose from 2ʹ-fucosyllactose per min at 37°C, pH 5.0.
Physical form
In 25 mM NaCl, 20 mM Tris-HCl, pH 7.5.
