Application

3,3′,5,5′-Tetramethylbenzidine has been used as a substrate in competitive enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) [1][2] and indirect ELISA.[3]
La 3,3′,5,5′-tetrametilbencidina (TMB) es un sustituto no carcinógeno (prueba de Ames negativa) de la bencina, adecuada como sustrato de la peroxidasa para procedimientos ELISA. Este sustrato rinde un producto final soluble que es de color azul claro y puede leerse espectrofotométricamente a 370 o 620-650 nm. La reacción de la TMB puede detenerse con H2SO4 2 M (que produce un color amarillo) y leerse a 450 nm. Reactivo sensible y específico para la detección de sangre, análisis de la hemoglobina, análisis de peroxidasa.
