Sulfamonomethoxine is used to study degradation by Fe³O⁴ magnetic nanoparticles. It is used in blood kinetic studies and is used to study capsule formation of Bordetella bronchiseptica.

Biochem/physiol Actions

Sulfamonomethoxine is a competitive inhibitor of dihydropteroate synthetase used to block the synthesis of folic acid.
