General description

La glucosa es la moneda energética esencial para los procesos fisiológicos en las células vivas. Actúa como precursor de las glucoproteínas, los glucolípidos y los glucosaminoglucanos.

Application

Constituye la principal fuente de energía para el metabolismo celular.
La disolución de D-(+)-glucosa se ha utilizado como suplemento de medios de cultivo:
  • en el medio Eagle modificado de Dulbecco (DMEM) para cultivo de células Flp-In  293
  • en medio de disección para cortes coronales de cerebro de rata
  • en medio neurobasal para cultivar células de hipocampos

Biochem/physiol Actions

La glucosa es un componente crucial para el crecimiento y el mantenimiento de las células de mamífero en condiciones in vitro y es esencial para la productividad y la calidad. Su elevado recambio metabólico favorece la diferenciación de los osteoclastos. Los niveles de glucosa modulan la migración y el crecimiento de las células tumorales. Las células HeLa exhiben elevada movilidad a concentraciones bajas de glucosa.

    1. This product is quite stable and not assigned an expiration or retest date. A warranty period of one year from the date of shipment applies. Products that are robust in nature and extremely stable, in the original unopened container, are not assigned an expiration date or retest schedule. These products will have no dating reported on either the label or the Certificate of Analysis.

      Products that are not assigned an expiration or retest date are covered by a warranty period of 1 year from the date of product shipment.

  2. Our CDMO has used 45% Glucose for manufacture. The supplier code they gave us is CR20057-1L and CR20057-50L. They do not have any other code filed. Can you confirm that CR20057 and G8769 are the same product and the same specification release applies?
