Gene Information

human ... ACVR2B(93)

Immunogen

Synthetic peptide directed towards the C terminal region of human ACVR2B

Application

Anti-ACVR2B antibody produced in rabbit is suitable for western blotting at a concentration of 0.25μg/ml.

Biochem/physiol Actions

Activin A receptor, type IIB (ACVR2B) binds activin ligands that promote growth and differentiation via the TGF-β signaling. ACVR2B is expressed in adult hypothalamus and forebrain. Activin receptors IIA and IIB may regulate germ cell proliferation in the human ovary during primordial follicle formation and in mouse testis.

Sequence

Synthetic peptide located within the following region: HDAEARLSAGCVEERVSLIRRSVNGTTSDCLVSLVTSVTNVDLPPKESSI

Physical form

Purified antibody supplied in 1x PBS buffer with 0.09% (w/v) sodium azide and 2% sucrose.
