General description

EX-CELL^® AdvancedCHO Fed-batch Medium is chemically-defined and contains no animal derived components. This platform contains no hypoxanthine andthymidine, L-glutamine, phenol red or 2-mercaptoethanol (2-ME). This medium isintended to be a part of a fed-batch platform and used with EX-CELL^® AdvancedCHO Feed 1 (24367C - with glucose or 24368C - without glucose).

Application

EX-CELL^® Advanced CHO Fed-batch Medium from SAFC has been specifically developed to support growth and productivity across a diverse set of Chinese Hamster Ovary (CHO) cells in fed-batch cultures while still allowing for flexibility in the adjustment of protein quality attributes.

This contemporary fed-batch platform was developed using a strategy of Multivariate Analysis to establish correlations in which the formulation components influence critical process and product attributes such as titer, fold expansion, receptor expression, and glycosylation.
