General description

Oxethazaine is a topical anesthetic, administered as an antacid for treating pain associated with duodenal ulcer, esophagitis and gastritis.

Application

Oxethazaine may be used as an analytical reference standard for the quantification of the analyte in biological samples using liquid chromatography coupled to tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS).
