The hydrated forms of aluminum sulfate may contain 30 to 50% less aluminum sulfate per gram of solid, potentially leading to shorter solution stability. The prepared solution is suitable for iron staining and other special stain procedures that require a non-blue nuclear counterstain.

looking for instruction to prepare a working solution of nuclear fast red stain using 60700. should Aluminum Sulfate be added? If so, can Aluminum Sulphate hydrate be used? need to use it as a counter stain for my iron staining.
