Description

General description

A non-specific phospholipase A₂ (PLA₂) inhibitor. Acts as an acetylcholine receptor antagonist. Suppresses glibenclamide-sensitive K⁺-currents (IC₅₀ = 4.4 µM). Also inhibits monoamine oxidase (MAO).

Cell permeable: no

Non-selective MAO-A/B inhibitor.

Product does not compete with ATP.

Reversible: no

Target IC₅₀: 4.4 µM in suppressing glibenclamide-sensitive K+-currents

Preparation Note
