General description

Purospher® STAR RP-18 endcapped, 2 µm UHPLC columns are designed for use in UHPLC Applications and instruments providing full UHPLC resolution and highest separation efficiency′s at maximum pressure of 1000 bar.Purospher® STAR RP-18 endcapped, 2 µm UHPLC columns allow the separation of basic, neutral, and metal chelating compounds with simple mobile phases and excellent peak symmetry. They are based on ultra-pure fully porous silica particles (Type B). These columns offer an outstanding stability from pH 1.5 to 10.5 over a wide temperature range, and suitability for up to 100% aqueous mobile phases. Plus, they demonstrate best all-round retention characteristics, as proven by the Tanaka test. Purospher® STAR RP-18 endcapped, 2 µm Hibar® HR 30-2.1 is a ready to use UHPLC column suitable for connection to any UHPLC system providing a pressure stability of 1000 bar.The column dimension of 30 mm length x 2.1 mm I.D. is the optimal choice for rapid UHPLC separation of complex samples allowing significant solvent savings and improved sensitivity. A 2.1 mm I.D. column enables a more sustainable separations in comparison to 4, 4.6 or 3 mm I.D. column due to the use of significant less solvent for the chromatographic separation.Learn more about Purospher® STAR HPLC and UHPLC ColumnsLearn more about the Supelco HPLC Column portfolio and Method development:Brochure: HPLC and UHPLC Column Selection GuideBrochure: A Practical Guide to HPLC - Method Development Guide
