Is this item a direct replacement for Gurr's Buffer pH 6.8 from other suppliers? Both products are phosphate-based with a pH of 6.8, but there is limited information available on the formulation. Intended application is Wright Giemsa staining for cytogenetics analysis.
1 answer-
The Gurr, Weise, and Sorensen's phosphate buffers are generally considered interchangeable for use in hematology; however, without knowing specific formulation information we cannot definitively say this product is a direct replacement.
