Description générale

A certified solution standard suitable for use in LC/MS or GC/MS applications for clinical toxicology, forensic analysis, pharmaceutical research, or urine drug testing.  Zopiclone is a non-benzodiazepine hypnotic sold under the trade names Imovane® and ZImovane® and is prescribed for the treatment of insomnia.

Application

  • Zopiclone solution pharmacological research applications: Utilized in developing and validating analytical methods for detecting z-drugs in biological samples, enhancing forensic toxicology and clinical diagnostics (Chauhan et al., 2024).
  • Zopiclone as a GABA receptor modulator in biochemistry: Investigated for its role in drug-facilitated crimes, particularly its identification through presumptive spot tests, which is crucial for forensic analysis (Chauhan and Sharma, 2023).
