SUPELCOSIL™ LC-18-DB Supelguard Cartridges [5 μm particle size, L × I.D. 2 cm × 4 mm] contain a SUPELCOSIL packing, in a 2 cm stainless steel body, enclosed by polyether ether ketone (PEEK) encapsulated stainless steel frits (2 μm porosity). A Supelguard kit (one cartridge, a stand-alone holder, tubing, and 2 nuts and ferrules) enables one to use the cartridge with any analytical column. A direct-connect guard cartridge holder can directly connect a Supelguard cartridge to a Supelco analytical column. 3.0 mm cartridges are available in packs of two only-purchase a stand-alone or modular holder separately. Low volume 3.0 mm ID cartridges are a good choice for protecting an analytical column containing 3 μm particles.

RGH-1756 (1-(2-methoxy-phenyl)-4-(4-[4-(6-imidazo[2,1-b]-thiazolyl)-phenoxy]-butyl)-piperazine dimethansulphonate) is a novel atypical antipsychotic candidate of Gedeon Richter Ltd. A new HPLC method has been developed and validated for the quantitative determination of RGH-1756 in dog and rat plasma. The compound and the internal standard are
A rapid, isocratic method for the determination of tryptophan in Escherichia coli fermentation broths by reversed-phase HPLC is described. Tryptophan can be measured in fermentations containing either chemically defined media or media with hydrolyzed protein supplements. The procedure was rugged

A study was undertaken for the characterization and quantitative determination of the main urinary metabolites of the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) nimesulide (4-nitro-2-phenoxy-methanesulfonanilide) in man following single oral administration (200 mg). Urines were collected from six healthy volunteers at 12
A high-performance liquid chromatographic (HPLC) method for determining verapamil and norverapamil in plasma is presented and compared with gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC-MS). The plasma samples were extracted at alkaline pH with hexane containing 2-butanol (20 mL/L) and then back-extracted into
