General description

ORBO 402 Tenax® TA specially treated (35/60), 100/50 mg is a glass tube containing dual-layered beds of the same selective adsorbent separated by glass wool or foam for gas and vapor sampling. This construction of the tube allows for any sample breakthrough to be captured in the smaller backup bed.

It is compatible with gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) equipment and is commonly used for breath analysis applications.

Application

ORBO 402 Tenax® TA specially treated (35/60), 100/50 mg has been used as an absorbent for the collection of air samples to determine benzene at trace levels in the environment during the GC/MS analysis.
