General description

N-Methyl nicotinamide is a metabolite of nicotinic acid which is found in human plasma and is a potent anti-inflammatory agent.
N-Methyl-13C,d3-nicotinamide is an isotope of vitamin B3 wherein all the three protons and the carbon atom of the N-methyl group are replaced by deuterium and 13C6 isotope, respectively.

Application

N-Methyl-13C,d3-nicotinamide can be used as a stable isotope internal standard for data interpretation in specific biological samples.
