Anti-ERD22 Antibody detects endogenous levels of total ERD22 protein.
ERD22 (ER lumen protein retaining receptor 2) is also known as KDEL (endoplasmic reticulum protein retention receptor 1). It codes for a a 26kDa integral membrane protein.
Immunogen
The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human ERD22.
Immunogen Range: 81-130
Biochem/physiol Actions
ERD22 (ER lumen protein retaining receptor 2) is essential for retention. It is redistributed from the Golgi apparatus to the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) due to higher expression of KDEL (endoplasmic reticulum protein retention receptor 1) .Mutation of hERD2 changes the specificity of ligand and communicate directly with the retained proteins.
