One unit is defined as the amount of enzyme that will convert 1.0 µmol pyruvate to L-lactate per min in 100 mM phosphate buffer at 30°C, pH 7.0.
Reconstitution
Following reconstitution, aliquot and freeze (-20°C). Stock solutions are stable for up to 3 months at -20°C.
