General description

Difluoroethyl azide is a fluoroalkyl azide reagent active in copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (click reaction). The usage of this and other perfluoroalkyl reagents in this family allows for the previously challenging inclusion of fluorinated species as building blocks for click reactions.
