Application

Thulium(III) nitrate pentahydrate has been used in the synthesis of thulium oxide (Tm2O3) nanorods for modified electrode in enzyme-based biosensor analysis.

It can also be used to synthesize hydrophilic, microporous lanthanide-organic frameworks.
