General description

Perylene is a carcinogenic compound, belonging to the class of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, widely distributed in the environment from different sources.[1]

Application

Perylene solution may be used as a certified reference standard for the quantification of the analyte in soil samples using gas chromatography coupled to mass spectrometry.[2]
