Description

General description

IGEPAL^® CA-630 is a nonionic, non-denaturing detergent suitable for solubilization, isolation and purification of membrane protein complexes. It is chemically indistinguishable from Nonidet P-40.[1]

Application

IGEPAL^® CA-630 has been used:

• In phosducin co-precipitation assay for pull down of Epitope-Tagged ^HAG_γ1 and ^HAG_γ1C71S[2]
• As a component of lysis buffer for cell culture and sample preparation for MAPK (mitogen-activated protein kinases) analysis, Immunoblotting[3][4]
• In the extraction of cells in Oil Red O staining procedure to visualise lipid formation in cells during adipogenesis[4]
• As a component of lysis buffer containing Tris-HCl, NaCl and EDTA for immunoblotting experiment[5]
