Application

Phosphors are solid inorganic crystalline materials that exhibit luminescence upon excitation. Applications of phosphors extend from bio-imaging/bio-sensors to X-ray detectors, fluorescent lamps, displays, and LEDs. Our YYG series isiphor are yttrium garnet based yellow phosphors whereas the SGA series isiphor are silicate based green phosphors. These materials exhibit >90% quantum efficiency and are well suited for application in backlighting for liquid crystal displays and LEDs.
