Allgemeine Beschreibung

Paracetamol is an aminophenol derivative. It functions as an analgesic and antipyretic drug, which has weak inflammatory effect. Paracetamol is used to treat pyrexia and mild to moderate pain.[1] It might inhibit atherosclerosis through its antioxidant activity.[2]

Anwendung

Paracetamol sulfate potassium salt has been used as a standard for HPLC assays of acetaminophen[3].
