GAB2 (GRB2 associated binding protein 2), a mammalian homolog of GAB1 is a member of the family of insulin receptor substrate 1-like multi-substrate proteins. It is located on human chromosome 11q14.

The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human Gab2.
