Allgemeine Beschreibung

Immunoglobulins (Ig) are produced by the B cells and play crucial role in host humoral immune response. A typical immunoglobulin consists of two heavy chains and two light chains. The two light chains are either κ or the λ chain. The B cells express one type of light chain during their life time
λ Light Chains (Free) from human myeloma sera consists of IgG λ light chains purified from myeloma sera.

Anwendung

λ Light Chains (Free) from human myeloma sera may be used as immunoglobulin calibrator, blocking agent or coating protein in various immunoassays.

Physikalische Form

Solution in 0.01 M phosphate and 0.15 M sodium chloride, pH 7.2, containing 1.0 M glycine and 0.1% sodium azide.
