Application

p-Aminobenzamidine-Agarose (pABA) can be used as an affinity ligand to bind and remove serine proteases in addition to Ca2+-binding proteins. It has also been used in medical applications as a tool for the purification of non-protease proteins.

    1. The package sizes represent the total volume of the agarose slurry and not that of the packed gel. The packed agarose volume varies from lot to lot and is reported in the Certificate of Analysis. The 5 mL package size has a packed gel volume range of 2.1 – 3.3mL.
