Cell Line Description
The antibody is directed against Shigella toxin and neutralises Shigella toxin activities from Shigella dysenteriae Type 1 and S. flexneri. It also reacts with the ß subunit of SLTI and neutralises the Shigella-like activities of E.coli, Vibrio cholerae, V.parahaemolyticus and Salmonella typhimurium.

Application
Study of shiga toxins.
Culture Medium
DMEM + 2mM glutamine + 0.15mg/ml oxaloacetate + 0.2U/ml Bovine Insulin + 0.05mg Sodium Pyruvate (NaP) + 5-10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS)
Subculture Routine
Maintain cultures between 3-9x100,000 cells/ml; 5% CO2; 37°C.
