Amberlite™ IRA-67 free base can be used in anion exchange media. It has been used as an adsorbent for lactic acid extraction from aqueous solution, and for the extraction of rhinacanthin from Rhinacanthus nasutus leaves.
Weakly basic anion exchange resin with an unusually high capacity for large organics. Common applications include: deacidification, deionization of process liquors, isolation of acidic natural products, purification of novabiacin and cephalosporins, separation of neutral and acidic amino acids below pH 10, removal of heparinic acid at low pH, concentration of citric acid, and demineralization of cheese whey.

A reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatographic method is described for the simultaneous determination of rhinacanthin-C, rhinacanthin-D, and rhinacanthin-N in Rhinacanthus nasutus leaves. The method involved the use of a TSK-gel ODS-80Ts column (5 microm, 4.6 x 150 mm i.d.) with the

The aim of the study was to determine properties of selected ion-exchange resins for citric and lactic acids recovery, to define sorption isotherms for these acids at different temperatures (in the range of 20-60 degrees C) and to determine diffusion
