Description

Biochem/physiol Actions

Sodium nitrate has the ability to reduce acetylcholine receptor clustering, that is stimulated by agrin. It is mainly used by the meat industry to inhibit the development of microbes. It also helps in retaining the colour of conserved and cured meats.
