General description

AmberLite HPR2900 H Ion Exchange Resin is a Uniform Particle Size, Macroporous, Strong Acid Cation Exchange Resin for Industrial Demineralization Applications. It is a robust, high-quality resin for use in industrial demineralization applications when a combination of exceptional physical stability, simple and reliable operation, and long resin life is required. Its high degree of crosslinking provides exceptional stability, which gives it great resistance to chemical oxidation and to mechanical, thermal, or osmotic stress. The properties of this macroporous resin have been designed for optimal kinetics.
The Dowex Marathon MSC is a superior resin to the Dowex MSC-1. The Dowex Marathon series provides narrower particle distribution, better efficiency, and improved kinetics when compared to the gaussian Dowex products.

Application

Designed for industrial water softening and demineralization applications. Additional applications include selective removal of copper and nickel cations from process solutions and downstream processing of imine reductases (IREDs).
Strongly acidic cation exchange resin for water demineralization. This resin meets requirements of FDA Food Additive Regulation 21 CFR 173.25.

Features and Benefits

  • Uniform particle size
  • High performance resin with proven track record
  • Exceptional physical stability with optimal kinetics
  • Great resistance to chemical oxidation and to mechanical, thermal, or osmotic stress Industry stable resin

Other Notes

This ion-exchange resin has not been specially processed nor cleaned. We suggest that it be treated to a suitable preliminary elution and wash.
