Description

Application

Calcium L-lactate pentahydrate has been used for in vitro maturation (IVM) of horse oocytes.[1] It has also been used as a supplement for medium TCM-199.[2]

Biochem/physiol Actions

Calcium L-lactate also referred to as L-Lactic acid calcium salt or calcii lactas pentahydricus enhances the calcium bioavailability.[3] It is useful in treating calcium deficiencies.
