Biochem/physiol Actions

The antibody is specific to human cytokeratin 19 and is reactive with cells of epithelial origin. Cytokeratin 19 is the smallest human cytokeratin (40 kDa) and is found in many simple and invariably in some non-keratinising stratified squamous epithelia. All adenocarcinomas tested have been positive for cytokeratin 19.

The monoclonal is presented at a concentration of 0.1mg/1ml in phosphate buffered saline containing 10mM sodium azide and 1% bovine serum albumin. We recommend that each laboratory determine an optimum working titre for use in its particular application.

For use within 1 month of purchase store at +4°C, for long term storage aliquot antibody into small volumes and store at -20°C.
