General description

An aqueous solution containing 20% SDS.
An ionic detergent useful in the electrophoretic separation of proteins and lipids. Also used in the purification of DNA. Has a CMC of 7-10 mM and a micellar weight of 18,000. Conductivity: 21900-25500 µmhos.
