General description
Application
- The composite of Sodium acerate trihydrate with Graphite is used as a promising materials for storage of solar thermal energy.
- It is also used as a phase change materials in energy storage due to its high energy storage capacity.
- Sodium acetate trihydrate has been studied to synthesis Na2FeSiO4 as novel Cathode Material for Sodium-Ion Batteries by using sol-gel method.
- In addition, carbon coated Na3V2(PO4)3 cathode material is synthesised by using Sodium acetate trihydrate as a precursor for sodium-ion batteries to increase the cycling stability and rate capability.
- Furthermore, sodium iron silicate was synthesized using solvothermal synthesis and tested as a cathode material for Na-ion batteries for the first time using sodium acetate trihydrate.
- Interstingly, Sodium acetate trihydrate is also used to synthesis a anode materials of ZnFe2O4@C/G nanocomposite for Lithium-ion batteries.[6]
