Description

General description

Vitamin K1, also known as phylloquinone, is a fat-soluble vitamin found in algae, cyanobacteria, and plants. It is involved in the synthesis of some important proteins having applications in blood clotting and bone metabolism.
Vitamin K1-4a,5,6,7,8,8a-¹³C₆ is an isotope of vitamin K1 wherein C-4a, C-5, C-6, C-7, C-8, C-8a carbons are replaced by ¹³C₆ carbon.
