General description

The Pellicon^® XL Cassette with Ultracel^® Membrane is a high performance tangential flow filtration (TFF) device designed for small volume concentration, purification, and buffer exchange applications. It offers high product recovery through ultra low protein binding and a highly hydrophilic membrane surface. The void free membrane structure provides stable, reproducible flux while minimizing fouling from proteins, lipids, and antifoam agents. Its superior mechanical strength and solvent resistance support reliable operation across a wide range of processing conditions.

Application

The Pellicon^® XL 50 Cassette is designed for small volume tangential flow filtration (TFF) processes, enabling efficient concentration, desalting, buffer exchange, clarification, and cell harvesting. It supports process development, sample preparation, and scale up studies for a wide range of biomolecules and cell based applications, such as:
