Application

Potassium Phosphate Monobasic solution has been used as a component of phosphate buffered saline for treating oligonucleotide nanoparticle and silver nanoparticle. It has also been used in the preparation of phosphate buffer used for high performance liquid chromatography-electrochemical detection (HPLC-ECD) system.

Biochem/physiol Actions

Potassium Phosphate Monobasic solution in combination with sodium acetate is employed in improving the shelf life of the catfish fillets during refrigeration. It is a sequestrant and neutralizing agent and preserves the colour of egg.

The current consensus recognizes four main medulloblastoma subgroups (wingless, Sonic hedgehog, group 3 and group 4). While medulloblastoma subgroups have been characterized extensively at the (epi-)genomic and transcriptomic levels, the proteome and phosphoproteome landscape remain to be comprehensively elucidated. This procedure may be used for the determination of Lyticase activity using Baker’s yeast as the substrate.

This enzymatic rate determination may be used for Lysozyme products. It is not to be used to assay recombinant or insoluble Lysozyme on agarose.
