General description

Standard for Supelco MIP SPE cartridges. For more information request Supelco Literature T407075, T706019, T706030, T706020. Salbutamol is classified under the β-agonist group of chemicals which are known to possess powerful pharmacological activities.

Application

Salbutamol may be used as a reference standard for the determination of salbutamol in:
  • Fish plasma by solid phase extraction (SPE) followed by analysis using liquid chromatography combined with electrospray ionization triple quadrupole mass spectrometry (ESI-LC-QqQMS).
  • Feed samples by ultra-high performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (UHPLC-MS/MS) as well as supercritical fluid chromatography (SFC) with MS/MS.
  • Pig hair by HPLC in combination with ESI-MS/MS.
  • Water and swine feed by dual labeled time-resolved fluoroimmunoassay (TRFIA) using lanthanide ions-based fluorescent probes and HPLC equipped with ultraviolet (UV) detector.
  • Treated wastewater by direct injection (DI) combined with UHPLC coupled to quadrupole-linear ion trap analyser (QqLIT-MS/MS).
