Application

Sodium phosphate tribasic is used to synthesis a reproducible Ag3PO4/TiO2 visible light photocatalyst to improve the photocatalytic activity and stability of Ag3PO4. It has also been employed as a mineralizer in the hydrothermal synthesis of uniform single-crystalline CeO2 nano-octahedrons and nanorods. It does not leave any impurities in the reaction system and makes it very easy to obtain and separate the octahedral and rod-like morphology. In addition, anodizing of Magnesium is studied in a solution containing sodium phosphate tribasic and KOH-aluminate to form anodic films of MgO and MgAl2O4 . Microarc oxidation coatings on magnesium alloy were created in sodium phosphate-KOH electrolytes with NaAlO2. The addition of NaAlO2 to the base electrolyte increased the amount of spinel MgAl2O4 in the oxide coating.

In general, sodium phosphate tribasic is used as:

  1. component in the preparation of solid crystals of calcium hydroxyapatite substituted by strontium
  2. block buffer to study segmental and subcellular distribution of CFTR in the kidney
  3. pH control agent, water hardness precipitation, laboratory reagent, phosphatizing reagent.
